Meisha Micklewright BVetMed MRCVS
Meisha grew up in a Newton Abbot before studying at The Royal Veterinary College. She completed a busy Internship at Bourton Vale Equine Clinic, where a large proportion of her work was with top racehorses in and around Cheltenham as well as high profile professional eventers. Here Meisha fell in love with working with performance horses and working to excellent standards of clinical practice. Having her own racehorse and 2 retired ponies, Meisha enjoys caring for a range of patients, from providing veterinary care for competition horses to ensuring her older patients receive the best care and attention (and extra cuddles). During her university days Meisha undertook numerous Externships around the world from America to Morocco. These varied from working with world class racehorses to helping charities providing care and life saving treatments to donkeys and mules, whilst educating the locals on basic care of equids. In her spare time Meisha enjoys riding in races as an amateur jockey and walking her springador, Moe, who joins her on her daily visits.
After graduating from the Royal Veterinary College, Beth went on to work at a small animal and equine practice in beautiful Dorset for multiple years, followed by an intense year of equine orthopaedics, diagnostic imaging and emergencies at a busy referral centre in the South West. Beth is particularly interested in lameness and imaging but enjoys all aspects of clinical work!
Beth likes to explore Devon’s countryside and coast with Jasper (her lovely rescue lurcher). She can also be found out running, on her bike, or playing hockey.
