Tor equine is equipped with a fully mobile, battery operated digital ultrasound machine. It uses three probes:
- Rectal probe – for internal investigations of all reachable areas of intestine, the bladder, pelvis, the left kidney, the uterus and ovaries and for pregnancy diagnosis during the stud season.
- Sector probe – for investigation of liver disease, eye problems, some cardiac cases, lung pathology and any other lumps and bumps that are within reach.
- Linear Probe – for investigation and assessment of tendon and ligament injuries.
